Welcome to Cherry class!

In Cherry class, children continue to develop their learning through play, creativity, exploring and active learning but with an increased emphasis on National Curriculum coverage.

Subjects covered include; Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Art, and RSHE, with PE, ICT and some Food Tech along the way. Children also benefit from swimming sessions and horse riding lessons.

Teaching is based around the needs of each child and adult support and challenge varies to suit accordingly. Learning opportunities are planned and differentiated to target individual requirements, with talents and interests nurtured whenever possible.

The balance of child-led activities and adult-led teaching creates an environment which is purposeful, enjoyable and rewarding for both the children and adults.
