Learning For Life
Maths at Key Stage 3 is designed to be functional for each child and is pitched at the level they are working at. Basic skills will be worked upon in all lessons with a functional element and links to real life throughout. Social skills and enjoyment of maths are both promoted through the use of games, investigations and partner/group work within lessons.
Maths is taught on a 6 week cycle with each half term building on the skills gained previously.
